The East River Amateur Radio Club, Inc., is located in Bluefield, West Virginia. The club's call sign is W8MOP. The ERARC was incorporated in 1960 and has an active membership of more than 100.

Meetings

Currently, the club meets monthly on the first Monday. Meetings are at 7:00 p.m. at the Bluefield "Ryan's" meeting Room, located on College Ave. in Bluefield, Virginia.  (Near Wal-Mart.)

Exams

ARRL amateur radio exams are regularly given on a quarterly basis (Feb. May Aug. Nov.) by the ERARC VE team which is headed by Gary Kadar, N8GK, of Bluefield, WV. Exams are on the second Saturday at 9:AM at the 911 Center in Green Valley, Shelter Road off of US Rt. 460, near the landfill and animal shelter.
